60 meter yacht built by lurssen
During a recent refit, French & Webb worked with the European design firm Harrison Eidsgaard, and were able take the pictured design concept creating a large comfortable seating area for the aft deck of this 169 ft private yacht. All the teak was hand picked for color match and assembled in a sculptural way, creating fourteen individual pieces that could be connected for a seamless sitting area. The portability when apart afforded the crew the ease of cleaning and maintenance.
1930s 42 meter yacht built by Consolidated yachts
French & Webb teamed up with this restoration project of a Consolidated Yachts, building the mahogany wheel house, navigation area, the captain’s state room and head. We were able to build all the components in our shop in Maine and deliver them to San Diego as near-to-completed joinery. Good communication with the owner’s representative and project manager, combined with our skills in restoration of classic yachts, made this multi-faceted project a success.
teak jacuzzi
French & Webb’s unique skillset combining composite metal work and seamless joinery were showcased in this 100-meter super yacht’s custom teak jacuzzi. Built in our shop and shipped to the Blohm + Voss shipyard in Hamburg, this jacuzzi has 3/8 stainless parts that were custom CNC machined. The base structure of the jacuzzi was built of carbon and FRP with the interior surfaces sheathed in 8 mm teak. All the mechanicals were ready to go so that when it arrived in Hamburg it was a seamless install. Situated on the aft deck of a private superyacht, guests can sip champagne while gazing at the sunset.
120’ Yacht antonisa built by Hodgdon YAchts
Early in French & Webb’s career, we had the privilege of collaborating with Hodgdon Yachts, one of the premier yacht builders in Maine. Hodgdon Yachts entrusted us to build joinery for the cockpit, deck hatches and some interior parts of the beautiful yacht ANTONESIA.
